Reports To: Production Manager, Creative Arts Staff

Compensation: Full Time, Permanent, Non-Exempt, with Comprehensive Benefits


The purpose of the Assistant Production Manager is to assist the Production Manager with a wide variety of production activities.  These activities require stewardship towards excellence of the Dream Team volunteers, inventory, environments and equipment that support the ministry of C3 Church.  He/she will assist in providing strategic direction and planning efforts while developing & adhering to budgets. She/he will assist in overseeing production, and at times will produce all facets A/V and lights/sound for Sunday services, conferences and other events on the Clayton campus, future Raleigh campus and other off-site locations so that we can pursue our vision to bring real hope to real people in a real world by helping people know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference.  He/she is also directly responsible for all video production and post-production editing and distribution.


  • Focus on live and post production video as well as media distribution and ProPresenter preparation
  • Provide for broadcast audio in coordination with production manager
  • Work with other C3 ministry personnel to produce various videos as needed with capture and editing
  • Work with the production manager to conduct scheduling and training of Production Dream Team members
  • Maintain online (PCO) database of the production Dream Team
  • Manage online video and audio resources
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in all production areas of responsibility and be able to oversee all production elements in the absence of the production manager
  • Work with the production manager to service and maintain all production equipment around the campus
  • Manage our live feed systems and schedule as needed
  • Work with the production manager and the production dream team to cover production needs for all other ministries both on and off the campus to include the kid’s ministry, youth ministry, connect groups, etc.
  • Attend needed staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, Google Drive, iCalendar, Apple Mail, Mac and PC platforms


  • Live multi-camera video production with professional video equipment and techniques
  • Live video feed equipment (encoding appliance) and Facebook live
  • Video editing using Adobe Creative Cloud components such as Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Planning Center Online and ProPresenter
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic understanding of large format audio mixing and setting up of portable sound systems
  • Basic understanding of professional grade theatrical lighting systems and lighting equipment.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs 4 feet high
