You Know You’re Called If…#4 and #5

As we continue with our 10 keys in knowing that you’re
called, let’s look at #4 & 5.

4. YOU WILL NOT BLAME OTHERS.

When you’re called you begin to take responsibility for the
vision of your calling. You refuse to blame others for your problems. You
resource yourself and take
responsibility for your spiritual growth and leadership and are constantly
evaluating the health of both. Blaming others is not an option in fact you are
doing the opposite. Ephesians 4:29, “Do
not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful
for building other up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who
listen.”

5. YOU WILL HAVE A PASSION THAT COMES FROM GOD.

This is a passion that works from the inside-out and is
stronger than any pressure that comes from the outside.  This passion is stronger than any
circumstances that you will come up against. This passion is a contagious
passion and you will find others are drawn to you because your passion is
overflowing. 2 Corinthians 4:16, “Therefore
we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are
being renewed day by day.”

  • I like these blog posts… I’m wondering if I am called to parent, now, though! Confessing: I blame my kids – and their shoes, coats, hats, toys, books, papers and mice – when I get really grumpy!
    Thanks, really 🙂

Thanks for modeling these leadership principles for me these past few months. You are a true man of God and I’m blessed to be able to serve you!
