Who Do You Listen To?

This past weekend I spoke on how God wants to AWAKEN our minds.  Romans 12:2, “Do not CONFORM any longer to the pattern of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind.”  3 ways that God can transform us as we renew our mind:

  1. Personal Time with God
  2. Connecting with others in Small Group
  3. Listening to God’s Word

I shared that there are some days that I am so tired or depleted that I don’t even feel like reading my Bible… usually on Mondays!  So what I do is I get my iPod, stick the ear phones in, and listen to other pastors and preachers.  Eventually I begin to gain spiritual strength and hunger and God does a great work.  We need to do “whatever it takes” to get God’s Word into our hearts and minds. Here are a few PODCASTS that I listen to on a regular basis that help renew my mind and get me fired up…

Dino Rizzo – Healing Place Church, Baton Rouge, LA
Greg Surratt – Seacoast Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC
Brian Houston – Hillsong Church, Sydney, Australia
Stovall Weems – Celebration Church, Jacksonville, FL
Steve Kelly – Wave Church, VA Beach
Rick Bezet – New Life Church, Conway, AR
Greg Laurie – Harvest Christian Fellowship, Riverside, CA

There are many others that I listen to as well but these are the ones that I find myself going to over and over to feed my heart, soul and mind.  How about you… who do you listen to?
