What If…Everyone Believed?

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

What if everyone believed? That’s is a powerful thought, that’s is an even more powerful concept. What if every believer actually believed God for something beyond himself or herself? What if every believer unified their hearts and asked for God’s will, and His kingdom to be on earth as it is in heaven? How would that change our world? How would that change our church? God’s word tells us that as we ask Him for anything, we must also follow up that request with faith. Too often in life as Christian’s we are willing to ask Christ for something, but are we then able to Believe and not doubt that He will answer those prayers?

Believing (or faith) is having confidence that God is who He says He is. God will do what He says He will do. The requirement of faith or confidence in God is not arbitrary; it’s just what we require of our children, our partners in life, and friends, as the indispensable condition of our being pleased with them.

Take a few moments and reflect, are there any areas in your life that you are not having faith or confidence in God? Write those down and pray that God will move in your heart to fully trust Him and believe He can make a difference.

As God’s people its important that we believe God is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do! This year we are asking what if everyone believed? What could God do with a group of people who trusted Him for the impossible? Today find someone who will pray with you for the things you need God to do in your life. Ask them to believe as you do that God is going to do something amazing in your life!
