Today’s Scripture:

John 20:4-7 “Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.”

Prayer Focus:

As we are nearing the end of our 40-Day journey, pray that God’s power would be unleashed in your life. Easter is only a few days a way and only last one day, but God’s power is everlasting. Pray about who you will invite and bring to Easter services this weekend. Pray that God will go before and prepare their heart to receive your invitation and ultimately receive Christ as their Savior. The resurrection of our Lord and Savior is exciting, it’s empowering and it’s freeing. Pray it never loses its significance in our lives and we will walk in His power everyday.
