This is part two of my message to the staff at C3 Church

WHAT IS YOUR PERSPECTIVE OF YOUR MINISTRY? – Your ministry flows out of the vision and heart for the church you are serving in. Every pastor is different, every pastor is unique, every church has a unique DNA.

We have two options: You can look at your ministry through the glasses of the church or you can look at the church through the glasses of your ministry.

Psalm 92:12-13, “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.”(NKJV)

WHAT IS YOUR PERSPECTIVE OF YOUR CALLING? – The kingdom doesn’t exist for you to fulfill your calling but your calling is to build His kingdom! Aren’t you thankful He doesn’t call the qualified but He qualifies the called?

Recently I was having lunch with Doug Carter, Senior Vice Pres of EQUIP. He shared with me that we have trained 4 million leaders with EQUIP in 156 countries. We began to discuss leadership training in North Korea.  As they train pastors in North Korea the pastors come down to South Korea for training and then they go into North Korea. We asked why wouldn’t they just stay in South Korea where they are free? Doug shared they return to North Korea to share the gospel knowing that they will probably die for their faith or put in prison for life.

Now that’s commitment! That’s a Holy Spirit led Kingdom perspective!

Let’s pray that we would have the same perspective that God has and build His kingdom together!
