Praying for a Miracle

Nathan & Tricia Lawrenson are praying for a miracle.  Both Liberty grads, Nathan is the Worship Pastor at Nags Head Church in the Outer Banks, NC. Tricia has Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic & fatal disease.  She is currently living at Duke Hospital in need of a double-lung transplant.  Without it, she has only months to live.  Their daughter, Gwyneth, is also at Duke Hospital in the NICU.  Born 15 weeks early due to Tricia’s declining health, tiny Gwyneth has been a miracle herself as she has thrived against the odds of her premature birth.  Their story has touched lives around the world to the point the News & Observer featured them as their cover story on Easter Sunday.  ABC11 also did a story on their journey & faith.

Tonight, they got the call that the transplant team has found a possible match for Tricia.  If the lungs are a match, Tricia will undergo a double-lung transplant within the next 24 hours. Please join me in prayer for this couple as they undergo this crucial step in prolonging Tricia’s life.  You can follow their story on Nathan’s blog:
