Monday Morning Recap

Pastor Zhenya, myself and Matt

We had quite a weekend at C3 this weekend!  I am constantly amazed and appreciative of who God brings to our church and what He puts together. About a month ago Matt and I traveled to the Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia. While we were there we got to spend some time with Pastor Zhenya Kasevich and his wife Vera. Pastor Zhenya and Vera pastor Hillsong Kiev.

Myself, Matt and Ted Dibiase (the Million Dollar Man)

We also had our C3 Warriors Men’s Night on Sunday! It started at 4:00pm with a huge Beast Feast in our parking lot. There were grills everywhere and every meat you could imagine being grilled! We had everything from deer meat to fish to bear! At 6:00pm the service started. Matt and Pastor Zhenya both spoke and Ted DiBiase, who you would know as “The Million Dollar Man” (WWE pro wrestler) was also here and shared his powerful testimony!

Pastor Zhenya spoke an awesome word on having a heart of appreciation. This is a must-hear sermon! If you missed this weekend’s services, I encourage you to watch it here and listen to it here. Also,if you were not at C3 this weekend, or if you would like to give your tithe or offering, you can give online by clicking here.

Here are notes from this weekend’s message entitled “Oh My Gosh!”…

“As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. As he entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.
Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.” (Luke 17:11-19 NLT)

1. Never underestimate the power of God’s Word.
2. Never underestimate the privilege of building God’s House.
3. Never underestimate the influence of God’s shepherds.

“Jesus left that part of the country and returned with his disciples to Nazareth, his hometown. The next Sabbath he began teaching in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. They asked, “Where did he get all this wisdom and the power to perform such miracles?” Then they scoffed, “He’s just a carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. And his sisters live right here among us.” They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him.
Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.” And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their unbelief.
Then Jesus went from village to village, teaching the people.” (Mark 6:1-6 NLT)
