This weekend Matt and I, along with our kids, were in Sydney, Australia at the Hillsong Conference at Hillsong Church with Pastor Brian and Bobbie Houston. While we were away, Pastor Clay NeSmith, Pastor of Barefoot Church in Myrtle Beach, SC spoke at C3. Pastor Clay and Kim have been great friends of ours for several years and it was an honor to have them at C3!
Also,if you were not at C3 this weekend, or if you would like to give your tithe or offering, you can give online by clicking here.
Here are notes from Pastor Clay’s message…
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Ezekiel 1:4 – “As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like gleaming amber.”
Ezekiel 1:12 – “They went in whatever direction the spirit chose, and they moved straight forward in any direction without turning around.”
Ezekiel 1:20–21 – “The spirit of the living beings was in the wheels. So wherever the spirit went, the wheels and the living beings also went. When the beings moved, the wheels moved. When the beings stopped, the wheels stopped. When the beings flew upward, the wheels rose up, for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.”
Ezekiel 1:28 – “All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me. (the fresh vision of God I got, looked like that… It begin to change everything about my journey and about my broken situation) When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me.”
God is More Powerful than my current Situation! He is the same God in your storm today as He was in the Storm Ezekiel saw Him in thousands of years ago… So who is He?
He is LORD & He is Mobile
He is Lord Over all – In All – And Through ALL
Mark 2:21-22 – “… who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before. “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”
He is a Rescuer
Ezekiel 1:4 – “As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light.”
