Monday Morning Recap

This weekend we celebrated our 13th Anniversary as a church and had our SUPERNATURAL Offering Weekend.  All I can say is WOW! From the worship to our children giving their supernatural offering to the 3800 cupcakes we had in the lobby…it was awesome! What an incredible weekend to celebrate and praise God for all He has done here at C3 in the last 13 years and looking forward to all He is going to do in the 13 years to come!

Our family w/ Anthony Evans Jr.

We had the honor of having Anthony Evans Jr with us leading worship at each of our main services, and Sunday night with our student ministry. Anthony is an incredibly gifted and anointed worship leader and we loved having him here celebrating with us!

As a part of our service, our creative team put together a video to show where C3 started 13 years ago and part of the journey along the way…

Matt spoke a powerful message from 1 Corinthians 13:13. You can listen to it here and watch it here.

1 Corinthians 13:11-13, “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

There is power in remembering WHEN….when we received salvation, when we prayed for the first time, when we expressed ourselves in worship…

Paul says that he had to grow up and put childish ways behind him. For us, if we are going to continue to mature in our relationship with Christ, there are mindsets, attitudes, and relationships that we have to put off in order to keep grown.

1 Corinthians 13:13, “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

FAITH – The Bible says that faith without works is dead.

James 2:17, So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.”(NLT)

Faith always results in SACRIFICE.

Faith doesn’t always make sense.

Faith always requires us to give to God what is most valuable to us.

Faith always requires us to surrender our lives to God.

HOPE – People need hope!

Romans 15:13, “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”(NLT)

LOVE – But the Greatest of These is LOVE! A love revolution involves three things…

Serving -serving others in practical ways.

Bringing-bringing our friends to church.

Giving-give out of obedience and sacrificially to God.
