Monday Morning Recap

What an awesome Memorial Day Weekend we’ve had!  Matt, the kids, and I are down at Myrtle Beach this weekend. Matt had the honor of speaking at Barefoot Church for Pastor Clay NeSmith.  Clay and Kim have an incredible church here in Myrtle Beach and Matt is actually one of Pastor Clay’s overseers.  The NeSmith’s have become great friends of ours, and we’ve loved spending the weekend with them!

While we were here at Barefoot, Pastor Robbie Robison, one of Matt’s best friends and a great friend of C3, spoke at our weekend services!  Robbie and his wife Tina live in Nashville, Tennessee and Robbie is on staff at The People’s Church.  Thank you Robbie and Tina for traveling to C3 this weekend and pouring in to our church! If you missed Robbie’s sermon, you can watch it here and listen to it here.

Both Chris Pipes and I were out of town, and I am so proud of this weekend’s worship team for stepping up and leading a powerful time of worship!  Several of those that led worship this weekend were from our student band or our 24/7 internship program!  I am so proud of the amazing job they did this weekend leading worship!

Even though I was out of town this weekend, I got to worship with C3!  Sunday morning I got to watch the 9:15am service online before attending church here at Barefoot.  (One of my daughters was in Texas and she watched online this morning also, so we all got to experience church together!) The awesome thing about technology is that even if you are out of town this summer, you can still ‘attend’ church from wherever you are!  All you have to do is go to www.c3church.com/media/livefeed/.  From the livefeed you can experience the full service from countdown to the closing song!

Another convenient aspect of church online is online giving.  Because it is easy to forget on Sunday morning’s to write the tithe check, Matt and I give online.  You can click here to check it out. By making online giving your regular way of giving your tithes and offerings, you are less likely to forget whether you are in town or on vacation!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  And, a special thank you to all who have served, are serving or have family that have served in the military! Because of your sacrifice, we can enjoy our many freedoms!
