This was a special weekend at C3 as we continued our 16th Anniversary Celebration! We had the honor of having Anthony Evans with us leading worship at all three of our weekend services. We have known Anthony for several years now. God continues to increase the influence that Anthony has in the music industry and now even in movies!
On Friday night and Saturday we held our 2nd annual Project 919 PitMaster Cookoff and had 14 teams that stayed up Friday night to cook enough food to allow us to feed over 600 people in need on Saturday, in the Wake and Johnston County area! Once again, our church stepped up strong to serve people in our community!
Matt spoke on Thursday night and the traveled to Atlanta on Sunday to speak at Bethany Baptist Church, the first church where he served in full-time ministry! You can click here to listen to his message from Thursday on Moving Forward in Forgiveness. Also, we have linked the message I spoke two years ago on forgiveness and you can find that message on our website as well. Forgiveness is such an important Biblical principle and we want to help you walk in the freedom of forgiveness.
If you were out of town and not able to give your tithes and offerings, you can do that here as well.
Philippians 3:12-14, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”(NIV)
How do we move forward?
- OWN IT.
- NAME IT.
- RECEIVE GOD’S FORGIVENESS.
1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”(NIV)
- DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP.
- SET BOUNDARIES AROUND YOU.
- STAY CONNETED WITH OTHER BELIEVERS.
- STAY FOCUSED ON THE GOAL.
