1 John 3:15 “Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.”
Reflect: This verse might remind us of Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount: “I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgement,” (see Matthew 5:21-24).
How do words of hatred “kill” or drain life from others? Of the people in your life, who might you be draining life from with your words or actions? How can those relationships become more life-giving?
