Let’s Share Our Shoes

Do
you have shoes you do not wear? Do they sit in your closet taking up space?
Did you know that 1.5 billion unused shoes are sitting in closets nationwide
and yet 300 million children do not own one pair of shoes?

Over
the next few weeks during our current series "Walk To The Cross" we
are doing
a Servolution Project where we are collecting new or gently worn shoes for
those in need. We've partnered with a local charity based in Raleigh called
Share Our Shoes. Our goal is to collect thousands of pairs of shoes for our
local communities in Johnston and Wake County and for those in Haiti.

Here
are 3 ways you can participate:

BRINGPalm Sunday Weekend
(March 27/28) we are calling that "Barefoot Weekend".
Bring all the shoes you want to share and then in the service you will
have the opportunity to remove the shoes you are wearing, place them on the
stage and leave church that day barefooted being reminded of the millions
of people who do not own shoes.

COLLECTIf you are a business
owner you can be drop box location and we’ll even provide you with the drop box and flyers.

SERVEThere are lots of
opportunities to help serve at
Share Our
Shoes
in Raleigh and our efforts here at C3 Church during the next few weeks.

For
more information go to www.c3church.com and click on “Share Our Shoes”. Let’s
make a difference by changing one life at a time…with one pair of shoes
at a time.
