It’s Just the Beginning

Even though the fast is over, it is just the start to God doing a new thing in our lives in 2010!

(I wrote this blog on Sunday, but my internet has been down at home!  I still want to hear your responses.)

As the 21 days of praying and fasting draws to an end, I want to encourage you to go back in your journal and reflect on all that God has done.

For me, personally, God answered some prayer requests during the 21 days and some answers are yet to come in the future.  Whether the answer has already come or is coming, we remember that He does exceedingly abundantly more than we could ask or think.

He did exceedingly more in my life during the fast, and over the next few days I will be sharing some of the things God revealed to me and taught me durng the fast.

I would also love to hear from you about things that God taught you during the fast, or how He answered your prayer requests so that we can rejoice together.

Have a great day reflecting and dreaming about the future!

  • Wow, God answered a few questions, he answered some requests too. I think I now know my calling too! God really talked to me the last week of the fast. With what he showed me, my husband has MORE faith too!!!

I feel much closer to God as I have had more practice pressing into Him. And it seems that each time we fast, I have a much clearer picture of what God wants from me. Thanks to you and Pastor Matt for always leading us closer to the Source of all our hope.

    Hey Martha,
My husband and I recently joined C3 in January… Although we have been attending for a few months.. Great things have been happening for us and God is doing great things in our lives… the latest for me… I have been on Blood pressure medicine for a couple of years. I knew I didnt want to live having to take the medication for the rest of my life. I’m only 45 however my family decided to join in with the Daniels fast. To make a long story short…. just recently in the beginning of December my husband took me to the emergency room, my blood pressure had gone up to 190 over 117. They started treating me worried I would be victim of a stroke… After that incident they increased my medication. I am so happy, thankful, rejoicings to tell you that after my appointment today with my doctor not only has my prayer time with my lord improved but my blood pressure is now 120 over 70 and its up to me to continue the medication. But I know I dont need it anymore… Nor will I ever. My blood pressure hasnt been this good in years……I love C3 and Im looking forward to the fast next year….. Thanks for all you and Pastor Matt do for us all…..

    God Bless!

    Hey Martha,
This was my first fast and it was really an experience for me.
I feel much closer to God and I feel more and more confident in trusting Him in everything.
He has been taking care of us over the past couple years and I’m exiting to see what is coming next.
God has put some really cool people and new ideas on our path and I can’t wait to know where this is all leading to.
Just wanted to let you know that C3 has really been a blessing to me and I feel at “home” even though I’m in a different country now.
