How Can We Have An Impact?

I will never forget when I completely surrendered my life to God and His plan for my life. I was on the wrestling team at Liberty University and had very little direction for my life. In many ways, I was running from God, but God was pursuing me the whole time.

After I gave my life and future to God I asked where the biggest need was in our church. They told me that the biggest need was with the middle school boys. So I volunteered serving middle school boys; coaching the football team our church had and sharing the love of Christ with them. I think we only won one game that year but it was a life changing year not only for the boys but for me!

No matter who you are or where you are from, God can use you to make an IMPACT! You are on this planet for a reason and God has a purpose and a plan for your life!

Do you want to have an IMPACT on your world? The first thing you must do is begin…

WORKING WITHIN YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

Before you can get out of your comfort zone you need to work within your comfort zone.

I believe we often overlook the opportunities God puts right in front of us because we are looking for some big opportunity.

God may be calling you to take a mission trip to another part of the world, but right now God can use you to impact your neighborhood, your campus, or your community.Your desire may be to give a million dollars to the vision of your church, but right now you can be faithful in your tithe to God. You may have a desire to tell others about Jesus after you become well known or successful, but God can use you right now!

It’s a powerful thing when we are faithful with what God has put in front of us. I’ve heard it said, “Bloom where you are planted.” That’s great advice and wisdom.

When we are faithful within our comfort zone, God will open up opportunities for us to experience His power outside of our comfort zone.

Here are a few questions to get started working in your comfort zone:

How has God made you?
What is your personality?
What is your passion?
What are your gifts?
What are your life experiences?
Where do you work?
Where do you live?
What are you involved in?
What is your family or kids involved in?
What sports or activities are you involved in?

Work within your comfort zone!

Ephesians 2:10: For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”(NLT)

This weekend at C3 Church we will have an opportunity to have an IMPACT together at our IMAPCT CELEBRATION WEEKEND! Please pray for our vision to Impact our Campus, the 919, and Africa. And ask God what he would have you give toward the vision; we can have a big IMPACT together!
