Haiti Earthquake Relief – Let’s Make a Difference Together!

Matt has been in meetings much of the day discussing the needs in Haiti and how we can help. This morning he was on the phone with Kirk Nowery from Samaritans Purse and he shared that their number one need right now is PRAYER. And all of us can do that! He shared that this is the worst disaster in the western hemisphere in 200 years!  Samaritans Purse have people on the ground right now in Haiti assessing the needs there to determine the most significant response needed for the people of Haiti. C3 is going to partner with Samaritans Purse,Joyce Meyer MinistriesLove A Child to provide immediate assistance.

Here’s how we can make a difference….

As we are currently in a 21 Day Fast and Prayer let’s make this a primary focus during this journey together.  And on this Monday night, January 18, 7-8pm we are going to have a night of prayer for Haiti. We are inviting other churches as well as the community to join us as we intercede for those that have been affected by this tragedy. Other churches will be having a prayer service Monday night including Healing Place Church, Baton Rouge, LA and Celebration Church, Jacksonville, FL.

We are in the process of setting up online giving specifically for Haiti Relief. For now, you may click here to give online through our General Fund. You may also mail a check, earmarked “Haiti Relief” to the church office, 8246 Cleveland Road, Clayton NC 27520.

Beginning Friday, January 15 at noon, C3 Church Clayton will be a Haiti Relief Collection location. Check out the list below for the items that are currently needed. We will collect until January 24, 6am – 9pm each day, and will deliver to those in Haiti with the help of Love A Child organization.

Matt will be updating my blog, mattfry.com and I will be updating mine, marthafry.org about the progress and needs. This recovery will require a long-term commitment. You can also email the church HaitiRelief@c3church.com or call 919-934-3551.

We are also working closely with Pastor Dino Rizzo, Healing Place Church, Pastor Jonathan Falwell, Thomas Road Baptist Church as well as all of the ARC family churches. Together we can make a difference!
