GOING FULL THROTTLE!

Those of you that are NASCAR fans know that yesterday Jimmy Johnson won a record tying third consecutive Sprint Cup championship tying Cale Yarborough 30 year old record (I was in Middle School then).  This would be like winning the Super Bowl for racing.  I also noticed that Jeff Gordon finished 7th in the standings and Dale Jr. finished 12th… What’s up with that?

In order for Jimmy Johnson to accomplish something so amazing required many things including going FULL THROTTLE to the finish line.

Speaking of going full throttle I believe that’s what God is calling me to do this week as we finish our 14 Days of Praying and Fasting and prepare for our Kingdom Builder Commitment and Offering Weekend.  I also want to challenge you to spend some time praying every day this week and ask God that He would do miracles this week.  God is an awesome God and He desires to do amazing things in our lives and our church.

Here are some important dates to remember:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 19, Mark Miller, VP, Chick-fil-A speaks at C3 Kingdom Builders Gathering!  Free Chicken Sandwiches will be served beginning at 5:30pm, and the service begins at 7:00pm.
  • This Weekend, Nov. 22-23 is our BEYONDme Offering and Kingdom Builder Commitment Weekend, Saturday 6:00pm and Sunday 9:15 and 11:15am.

I am praying with you and believing God for BIG things in your life, your family, and C3!

I’m a huge NASCAR fan and watch the race every weekend. I’m a huge fan of Carl Edwards who came in 2nd place for the championship, plus he won the final race yesterday. He won a total of 9 races this season. Their faith and determination astound me!!!! Going Full Throttle is the key to keeping your faith ALIVE!!!!
