Fantastic 5 Pics and Organic

This past weekend was a defining moment for our church as we launched our new 5 service schedule on Fantastic 5 Weekend. C3chrch2007_0325_190415aavi_2Our new Sunday night service kicked off with over 750 people in attendance.

C3chrch2007_0325_181054aavi_2It was a great surprise to have my good friend Senator Fred Smith join us this past Sunday night. You can see here that we are getting a big laugh at the diversity of our attire.

C3chrch2007_0325_184509aavi_2After the service everyone enjoyed a good ole fashioned Eastern NC Pig Pickin.

Join us this weekend as we kick off our new series Organic… How to Get Real. We will be looking at the life of Jesus and how he lived out the fruits of the Spirit.

  • Hey Matt! Great semon on sunday (both you and Martha). You guys are such a blessing in our lives. We pray we can take what we’ve learned from C3 and duplicate many things in France. We believe what you guys do would reach people anywhere in the world.

Thank you Matt and Martha for such a wonderful service this past weekend! Martha’s message was particularly timely in that April is both Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. I work for an agency that serves over 6,000 victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse each year. And you are so right, that so many children have been so hurt by father figures that they cannot see God as love. Thank you for inviting those who have been hurt to begin healing, and for encouraging those who are hurting others to stop and begin healing their own wounds. May God Bless you for your courage to share this message!
