Did You See It?

Last week, NBC17 showed a 3 minute feature about C3 during their prime time 7pm news. They interviewed our Minister of Students, Chris Graebe, as well as some bald guy. If you missed it you can go to nbc17.com and click on “Your Life” and you can watch the video there. If you saw it, I’d love to know what you thought.
Here’s a picture of our Student Ministers hard at work…

This past Sunday night was a big night for our students as over 320 students and leaders participated in the “After Party”… back to school party. Let’s be praying for our students as they begin the school year… that God will bless them and use them to have an impact on their schools. By the way, our student ministry meets every Sunday night from 5-7pm and the next BIG event is the See You At The Pole Rally with Jason Ryder and the Late Night Band in just a few weeks!… Sept. 24.

  • Dear Pastor Matt,
What a blessing that C3 has such of an awesome student ministry and that Chris Graebe (from MTV) as well as Cory Bolduc are part of that team’s staff. I’m thankful that Chris was called to serve at C3…and that he has such of a heart of compassion for others – not only students – he’s been an inspiration to me as well. I’m glad of all of the others who are a part of the student ministry along with the other ministries. (Forgive me for not individually naming them…it would take too long.)
It has been great to be able to work with the C3 student ministry through photography for several of their events. I’m also thankful that I’ve been allowed to use the gift of photography for churches – including C3 – and other ministries. Speaking of which, at the time of this comment, I’m at Ridgecrest near Asheville, NC doing the photography for a Lifeway National Singles Conference. (I reckon it is important to be a part of a team, right?)
The gift of photography certainly has been a blessing…even though I’ve been tested quite a bit lately and have struggled with various things which could wound me deeply to the point of spiritual paralysis IF I let them! I need to continue to let go and let God handle my life as He sees fit, even though I might not completely understand the complete details. Praise God for encouragement!!!
Speaking of which, I just purchased a new computer (unplanned expense) so I can continue on with the ministry of photography since the hard drive of my other one died on me a few weeks ago.
When there’s time with NO distractions (or frustrations), I need to do more digital photo work – including some for C3 events, such as the student ministry’s “Back to School Bash” in late August. It’s been a hard attack on me. A friend of mine is repairing my other computer, but I don’t know when I’ll get it back. I think I might take longer than expected due to the extent of the damage of the hard drive.
Anyway, I must go now. Thanks for your passion and what you do for C3 and the community! I’ll see you later…maybe in the news? 🙂 (Again, what incredible media coverage C3 has had lately! WOW!)
    God Bless,
    Gregory <>< Jeremiah 29:11

Awesome video! Chris did a great job representing the affects of having Christ in your life. Prayfully others will come to know God through this.

Did I see it? Yeah, and I recorded it on DVR. I have been anxious for it to show up on the NBC website so I can show family back home. I am excited to share how God has blessed and grown C3 and that I am a part of what makes C3 a church. Like you said Pastor, without a building, we would still be a church. God does great things in places that most people don’t even know about. It’s so awesome to share with others in highly populated areas that God longs for his children in the back country of Johnston County, to the children suffering in Africa to those affected in war torn areas in the middle east. And he has now given us the tools to share that wealth of His love by expanding a facility to hold us all. God is Good…All the time.
