Christmas Season Is Here!

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away.  This is one of the most exciting times of the year as we reflect on all that God has done in our lives in the past year and celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ!

Our First Wednesday service tonight will kick off the Christmas season here at C3.  The Worship team is going unplugged with a cool flow.  We also have Lance Witt as our guest speaker.  Lance worked on staff as the Teaching Pastor with Pastor Rick Warren at Saddleback Church, California for several years.  I got to spend some time with Lance recently when we both were speaking at the Innovate Conference.  He is the Real Deal with a passion for God and for hurting people.  It’s going to be awesome!

It’s going to be a powerful service as we celebrate Jesus the Messiah this Christmas season.

This weekend we launch a brand new series called Box Office Christmas.  We are taking some of the classic Christmas movies and showing some clips as we look at the true meaning and purpose of Christmas.  I look forward to seeing you at one of our 3 services this weekend, or if you live out of the area you can watch LIVE on  It’s going to be a blast!

Great night last night Pastor. Lance was the real deal and had a “right on time message”.
Even though work is really busy during this time, I always enjoy Dec at C3. Pumped for the Christmas eve service!

    Pastor Matt,
I have tried not to bother you of late and have been “silent” about responding to something that happened at C3 but Good Golly Miss Mollie if I were to be quiet about this one I fear that the rocks of Johnston County would “cry out!!!” And of course I speak about the worship experience had by those at this week’s “1st Wednesday” worship service!!! I am just not able to formulate, adequately, into words how powerful God was alive and running “to and fro,” in that service on Wednesday.
In one portion of Pastor Whitt’s message, he stated that when he saw/heard the message about the NASA photos, this message did not hit him until the next day. And he cautioned we, his listeners not to miss what he was saying. I will admit that I did come to worship on Wednesday tired and run down from a long day of work. And it was the next day, about 9:30 AM that Pastor Whitt’s message really hit home. Powerful!! Powerful!!
Powerful!! I LOVE 1st Wednesday. It is just such a time of worship and “house cleaning,” with things with God. I wish we had 1st Wednesday, 2nd Tuesday and 4th Wednesday services to boot!!!!! Just could not help but stop and give out some praises for the service on Wednesday night!!! See ya, al.
