Two years ago I was encouraged by my friend Maurilio Amorim, who works with churches and ministries around the country, to host a Christmas Eve service at C3. I wasn’t against having a Christmas Eve service but was unsure of the value it would add in addition to our normal weekend Christmas services. So two years ago we gave it a try and our 2,000 seat worship center was packed and overflowing. We had people in the lobby watching on overflow tv’s. So last year we had 2 services and they were both filled.

This year we are adding a third Christmas Eve service and our times will be 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. I no longer under estimate the power of a Christmas Eve service. So many lives are changed.  Many come to a Christmas Eve service that would normally never attend church and it’s one of the most exciting services we do all year.  So I’m a believer and I can’t wait to see what God does this year.

If you live in the area we’d love to have you join us on December 24 for one of our three services. Our missions focus for this year will be the Smithfield Rescue Mission here in Johnston County.  They are in need of expanding their facilities for the homeless and we are going to take up an offering to make that happen! What a great way to celebrate what Christmas is all about

  • Thanks Matt. This is our first…mostly because we meet in a school, but we are 5 years old and it’s time. We are doing two. I shared your post with our staff. Great encouragement! Trading you a prayer.

  • Thanks for the encouragement Ron! I will definitely be praying for your Christmas eve services. Let me know how it goes!
