This Sunday night we hosted our first Men’s Night here at C3. Part of the vision behind men’s night is that we are blessed as a church to be a blessing to our community. This August the men of C3 are going to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Johnston County, in Selma, to do just that! The building that they use has some structural issues and repair needs (explained in the video below).
The vision of the Boys & Girls Club is to “Help Those Who Need Us Most”. Their vision is very similar to the vision of C3, which is to provide “Real Hope for Real People in a Real World”. Through this partnership we will be able to provide hope to people in our community who need it most!
We are in the planning stages of building teams and setting dates for ‘work days’. Here is a list of projects that we are planning toward. Please join us in praying over this list as we believe it will all come together and be able to be accomplished…
1. Purchase materials
2. Replace all the windows (they all leak)
3. Repair the drainage problem
4. Add gutters
5. Pave the parking lot
7. Replace the shingles on the roof
I’ll keep you posted on our progress and ‘work days’ once they are schedule. I’m excited to see what God has in store for this partnership!
