Billy Graham

I leave today and travel to Charlotte, NC to speak to the staff of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association.  I am so humbled that they would ask me to come and share with their staff of about 350 leaders.  What an amazing man of God Billy Graham is (huge understatement).  God has used this champion of the faith to lead over 2 Billion people to Jesus Christ.  I’d appreciate your prayers as I share God’s word with this group of world changers.  I will also get to tour the new Billy Graham library and spend some time meeting with some of their staff to discuss how we can partner together.  Question:  What would YOU share with the staff of Billy Graham?

I’m so proud of you, Ps Matt. What an amazing opportunity that may only come once in a lifetime. I know you’ll do a great job.
If I had a chance to speak to the staff I would probably remind them that it’s still about the cause of Christ and encourage them to…
    1. Fight the good fight
    2. Finish the race
    3. Keep the faith
Then I would sing the song “The Stand”. That would be an honor.

I would share that God is doing a new thing in our world today. The journey is just beginning and there is so much left to do. All that has been done in the past is awesome, but what God is calling us each to today is far beyond what any of us could ever dream or imagine. I would encourage each person to decide what they will do, beginning today, to make a difference for the Kingdom. Jump in with both feet and rock the world in the name of Jesus!! Praying for you guys while you are there, I know God is going to use you in a big way.

I’d share Eph. 4:11-12, and quickly add, “I’m not called to preach, so please give a warm welcome to my AWESOME, highly caffeinated, Pastor, Matt Fry!” 🙂
Seriously, for us to accomplish what we have to do on this earth, we need to ask God what our calling is and pursue it with all we’ve got, for the Kingdom and His glory!
Have a blast! Praying for you!

    Pastor Matt,
I am proud of you and will be praying for you.
I would emphasize to the staff the importance of the next generation and their relevance today.
Your passion and vision for all students is contagious.

    Ps Matt,
What an honor for you to speak to the BGEA. I will be praying for you. Your words will echo through them to the entire world.
I’d be inclined to challenge each of them regarding their personal walk with the Lord. In a crowd of 350+, good bet that there are some that have unconfessed sin, marital issues, or unforgiveness of some sort.
Probably others that are very busy with the cares of life and are not having personal prayer and devotions.
We cannot export what we don’t possess.
Blessings to you and the family…
