48 HOURS OF PRAYER BEGINS!

If you haven’t heard, C3 will begin a 48-hour time of prayer and fasting beginning tonight at approx. 6pm and will conclude 6pm Wednesday night… then we will gather for our First Wednesday praise and worship time! Martha and I invite you to join us in this time of seeking God and preparing our hearts for what He is going to do through us as a church. As you pray, focus on these 3 Areas:
Relationship with God – spend time listening to God and worshiping Him.
Relationships with Family – spend some time praying for your family and their relationship with God.
Relationship with Church Family – pray for your church and specifically our Groundbreaking Weekend as we begin the miracle of building our new worship center. Also, pray and ask God what He would have you to give for the Dream offering this weekend.
Joshua told the Israelites just before they experienced the miracle of crossing the Jordan:

Joshua 3:5, “Joshua told the people, ‘Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”(NIV)

I believe God is going to do Amazing things among us! I can’t wait to see what He is going to do. I believe this weekend will be a defining moment for C3 and will be an experience that we will never forget.
The late Dr. Bill Bright said,

“I believe the power of fasting as it relates to prayer is the spiritual atomic bomb that our Lord has given us to destroy the strongholds of evil and usher in a great revival and spiritual harvest around the world.”

If you can’t fast food, let me encourage you to choose something else and sacrifice it for 2 days. One person shared with me that they are going to fast television. For more info about fasting go to http://www.billbright.com/7steps/
I’d love to hear how God works in your life as we join together for this 48 Hours of Prayer.

Fasting is one of the hardest things for me to do, but I’m looking forward to seeing how God will be glorified through these next 48 hours.

I have spent the last few hours preparing myself for 48 hours of prayer and fasting. Seeking forgiveness and cleansing my heart before God.
I am believing my relationship with God will be intensified, relationships within my family will be healed and C3 will experience an outpouring from the heavens like we have never seen before.

  • Melanie

Can’t wait to see the amazing things God will do through C3. Thanks for passing on the vision!

We are with you Pastor. My wife and I have started and can’t wait to see how God works. Fasting is a powerful weapon that I don’t use often enough. God has performed miracles in the past when I fasted and I can’t wait for 1st Wed. See you there.

Thanks for the link to Bill Bright’s website. I planned on picking up one of the books from the RHRC, but they were sold out by the time I got there. Praise the Lord that so many are agreeing to pray and fast for our new facilities and the people we’ll be reaching.

Pastor Matt, I am so excited to be a part of C3 and all that God is doing in Johnston County. When I think of this coming weekend celebration, I think of that old praise & worship song, “Look What the Lord Has Done”. Thanks for your faithfulness and sacrifice.

  • Andy

Unfortunately because of a medication I’m taking I can’t participate in the fast but I will continue in my prayers for the church and the leadership. Our God is an awesome and faithful God. I know he is moving in Johnston Co and through C3 and can’t wait to see how he is going to use the new facility for his glory.

    Hey Pastor Matt
My family and I are so excited about the 48 hour fast. We know that God will do great things this year. I can’t wait until first Wenesday. I believe it will be an awesome night, and God will show up in a big way. This whole week is so exciting. Thank you for all you do, and God bless you.

As Isaiah 58:6 indicates, fasting is not to move the hand of God, but it is to make Satan turn loose of what he is holding back that rightfully belongs to us. I look forward to Wednesday and this weekend to see what blessings were being held back.
