EXPERIENCE Ministry – The Dream Team
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 NLT
In the verse above, Jesus tells his disciples he didn’t come to be served, but to serve others who needed him. He didn’t come to have his feet washed, but to wash others’ feet. Sometimes we are far too concerned with being served and miss out on opportunities to serve others. We need to be sure we are focusing our heart on others’ needs instead of our own. The funny thing is, when we focus on fulfilling others’ needs, we end up fulfilling our own.
Praise God for sending His son, Jesus, with the power to forgive all of our sins. Ask God for forgiveness for being concerned with your own needs more than the needs others. Thank God for how serving permeates the walls of C3. And thank Him for the people that serve others each weekend at our church. Pray that our church family would continue to turn their hearts outwards toward others and that they would serve with the same heart as Jesus.
